ChatGPT isn’t good or evil: it follows the logic of your question

🤖 ChatGPT: good or evil?

It just follows the logic of your questions.

Psychology has a term, black-and-white thinking, for when we see the world in extremes: success/failure, black/white, good/bad.
You could call it the duality that people often think in.

And, interestingly, that’s exactly the logic we tend to use when we ask ChatGPT questions.

👉 And it simply stays inside the frame you set.

Here are two everyday examples:

“Should I buy this phone or not?”
→ the answer will also come in a “yes/no” format, because the question rigidly set up two options.

“Is this place good or bad for a trip?”
→ and ChatGPT keeps the duality going: “it has pros / it has cons”.

But change your approach a little, and the logic of the answer gets broader:

“What should I look for when choosing a phone for my needs?”

“Which travel options would suit my budget and style?”

And the AI starts thinking more broadly, because you’re setting a broader logic.

🌱 The takeaway:
ChatGPT is neither good nor evil.
It simply extends your way of thinking.

Want broader answers? Start with broader questions.
